 the story my mom always brings up when Mason becomes a subject is “i’ll never forget that day when mason and bobby were spendin the night and y’all were back from the navy. and you (me) were drunk and stumbling around the house and i woke up to see why all the darn lights were on and Mason said it’s ok robyn i training Guy to be a good drinker, i’m watchin em.” she usually brings this up twice a year.

 O my goodness… I will never ever forget…Mason was so serious…  He winked and patted me on the shoulder.. “it’s okay, Robyn, I’m training Guy to hold his liquor, I’m watching him, you can go on back to sleep”   He was 3 sheets to the wind too…  but somehow, I trusted him and went back to sleep…
